Karim Cole Jr. c/o 2015- Karim has been one of the great additions for the Spartan
I.C.E. 6th grade team this year. He has proved himself as an elite guard in the Midwest. With the ability to score via penetration
and shooting the long ball makes Karim very versatile and difficult to defend. Remember his name!

WI Warriors Invitational
Champs! This past weekend the Milwaukee Spartan
I.C.E. participated in the WI Warriors Invitational. It was a great 1st annual tournament for the WI Warriors program.
The 12u division composed of teams from Minnesota, Milwaukee, Racine and Northern Wisconsin. Starters Andrew Davis and Nick
Coleman had prior commitments and did not play this tourney which put the pressure on the other guys to perform. The Spartans
still proved to be too much for the competition. The team played on all cylinders dominating the competition by an average
margin of victory of 18 points while going undefeated. This was the Spartan I.C.E. 9th championship out of 12 tournaments
this season. Bringing their record to 54-4 and remain undefeated against all Wisconsin teams this season. Congratulations
Milwaukee Spartan I.C.E.! Next up is the St. Louis Pre-National Invite.

Pony Midwest Spring Championships- 1st Place Another great showing by the
Milwaukee Spartan I.C.E. winning their 8th championship of the season. Bringing their season record to 46-3. Next up: Memorial

NY2LA Sports Swish N Dish: 1st Place Champions
The I.C.E. was at it again this weekend playing
in NY2LA’s Swish N Dish in Milwaukee, WI. Trying to win it’s the largest local tournament of the year. The 12U
division consisted of some great teams here are just a few; Team Ohio, D.T.A., All Iowa Attack, Randolph Boys Club, Iowa Barnstormers,
the WI state champs & #10 team in the country Playground Elite. This would definitely be one of the most difficult tests
of the season. The Spartan I.C.E. started off on all cylinders defeating Team Ohio Panthers 66-12. Next up would be the All
Iowa Attack. The Spartans defeated all Iowa 54-33 giving the I.C.E. a 1st round bye. In the Elite 8, the I.C.E.
defeated River City Cougars out of St. Paul, MN which moved them on to the final four. In the final four it was a hard fought
game against Randolph Boys Club. The Spartans were down by 11 pts with fewer than 5 minutes to go in the game. They never
gave up. Through a spark from Karim Cole, the teams’ hard work & much heart, the team fought back. Nick Coleman
hit 2 free throws in the final seconds to win the game & they moved on to the championship game where the State champs
& number 10 team in the country (Playground Elite) were awaiting. This has been a long awaited battle which proved to
be an instant classic. Playground started off on all cylinders jumping out to a quick lead and was leading at half by double
digits. The Spartans were getting the looks they wanted but were shooting the ball at a low percentage and found themselves
down by 24 points with less than ten minutes in the game. The coaching staff kept their team focused letting them know that
there is a lot of basketball left. Karim Cole Jr. sparked the team scoring 11 straight points followed by a few buckets from
Nick Coleman and the team was off to the races. The Spartans full court pressure proved to be too much for Playground Elite
holding Playground to only 2 points in the last 5 minutes of the game. With 6 seconds to go in the game
the I.C.E. got a chance make the miraculous comeback. The coaches called the play for Nick Coleman and he made the go ahead
bucket with 2 seconds left on the clock. Playground tried a last second play but it was tipped by Andrew Davis then stole
by Tywon Bressler and The Milwaukee Spartan I.C.E. had done the unthinkable. It was only through great coaching, hard work
and a group of young athletes with unbelievable hearts the comeback was complete. Congratulations Spartans on their 5th
championship of the year. Check back in a few weeks for more results as the Spartan I.C.E. travel to the Labron James Shooting
Stars Classic!
