CAMP HIGHLIGHTS HERE
US Superior Skills Camp- Fort Worth, TX: 1/23-25/09

Rodney Purvis 6’2 Guard (Raleigh, NC) - c/o 2013 Rodney was the definitely the best player at the camp overall. He showed great
explosiveness and athleticism. Purvis pleased the crowd with numerous dunks throughout the camp. We liked his size and strength
and ability to get stops when needed. Rodney Purvis is definitely a top 20 player in his class nationally

Karim Cole 5’2 Guard (Milwaukee, WI) - c/o 2015: top left This young talent showed flashes of brilliance. Karim can run the show and he makes his teammates better. He averaged
about 10 pts per game and scored whenever needed by finishing at the basket. Cole is difficult to guard because he is a very
strong but quick guard. He plays like a young Chauncy Billups. Karim showed that he belonged on the same court with these
nationally recognized players. He was definitely one of the top guards at the camp. Karim played in the all-star game but
was stuffed out the starting spot to one of the camps coaches’ son. Nick
Coleman 5’10 G/F (Milwaukee, WI) - c/o 2015: top left middle Nick
shot the 3-ball very well and consistent throughout the camp. He also scored at will in the post as well as passed the ball
well. Coleman was the best all around player in his age group and showed it by doing what ever it took to get it done. Nick
& Dominick won the 2 on 2 big man tournament defeating two 6 footers Elijah Thomas & Jesse Pistokache from Texas and he also started in the all-star game. Dominick Thompson 5’8 F/C (Milwaukee, WI) - c/o 2015: top right middle Big Domo showed he had the most post moved of all the big men. He was a little bit limited due to the fact that he
didn’t get many touches on Saturday. Dominick still got numerous rebounds and put back including a few and-1’s.
Dominick & Nick won the 2 on 2 big
man tournament defeating two 6 footers Elijah Thomas & Jesse Pistokache from Texas and he also started in the all-star game. Tywon Bressler 5’0 Guard (Milwaukee, WI) - c/o 2015: top right He shot & handled the ball well throughout the camp and showed he really knows the game. Tywon
was teamed up with Alonzo Trier (PG) & Austin Grandstaff (Texas Titans-PG) so it was difficult for him to get the ball
initially, only shooting the ball 1 time in two games. We thought he adjusted well by Sunday. He started demanding the ball
more and averaged about 10 pts a game on Sunday. Tywon also hit a game winning three point shot one game as the buzzer sounded.
He started in the 6th grade all-star game and finished the game with 9 pts out of 51 total. He was one of the top
guards at the camp. Dylan Lowry 5’0 Guard (Cincinnati, OH) - c/o 2015: front row This young talent stoked
the ball well throughout the camp. Dylan handles the ball well and is tenacious on defense, locking down
other camp stand out Jordan Green at times. With 2 nationally AAU championships under his belt he definitely has
a heart of a true champion. Dylan is always fun to watch and was indeed one of the

Tournament Of Champions: 1st PLACE in Cleveland, OH The I.C.E. was at it again this weekend
playing in the Tournament of Champions in Cleveland, OH. Trying to win its 4th championship of the season it was
going to be hard. This would definitely be the most difficult test of the season. There were a lot of good teams in the 12u
division such as NBA 2B, Virginia Warriors, PDAAK, St. Louis Swoosh, King Of The Court, Q.D.C.C. (N.C.) plus a few more. The
Spartan I.C.E. started off on all cylinders winning both pool games by more than 30 pts. The closest game of the tournament
was against an athletic aggressive NBA 2B, formally Team 317 out of Indy. It was one to remember. They met in the final four.
NBA 2B started the game strong with an 8-0 run but that just made the I.C.E. play harder. Mid way through the first half the
I.C.E. took the lead and never looked back. As they exchanged the lead a few times down the stretch, the Spartan I.C.E. prevailed
at the end 42-36 & on to the championship. The Spartan I.C.E. proved to be too much for King Of The Court defeating them
by a score of 60-46 in the championship. Congratulations Spartans on the 4th championship of the year. Check back
in a couple of weeks for more results as the Spartan I.C.E. try to win the NY2LA Swish N Dish!
MORE AAU RUMORS!!!!
J.P. Tokoto: c/o 2012
It is rumored that J.P. has left the Nike program of Playground Elite and is headed to Wisconsin’s
Reebok program Playground Warriors. He has been regarded as the #1 player in his class in the state of Wisconsin according
to www.MidwestFutureHoopsreport.com. Normally when an impact player like J.P. Tokota leaves a program, other good players
follow. It will be nice to see how this class unfolds on the circuit this summer and only time will tell if this rumor is
TRUE or NOT.

Jonathan Carson 6’2 C/F (Milwaukee, WI) - c/o 2014
Big Jon Jon has made his presence known nationally. Recognized by www.KObasketball.com as a top prospect,
if you have seen this young talent in action you will understand why. He has a strong physical presence down low. Jonathan
loves the ball in the post but is not one dimensional. Jon Jon can push the ball when needed and has also added the short
elbow shot to his game that he can hit with consistency. I’ve seen many talents from his class and he is definitely
a top 5 player for his position nationally. It’s going to be nice to see how far Jonathon can take Playground Elite!

Pony Midwest Championships: 1st PLACE The Milwaukee
Spartan I.C.E. took stage this past weekend in site of their 4th championship this season. There were many new
area teams in this Pony event such as Northcott Hoyas, Lakeshore Lakers, WI Warriors plus a few more. Our Spartan I.C.E. proved
to be a little too much for the competition. They won every game by an average margin of 24 points. We had excellent contributions
from everyone but a few stood out. Haywood Merrill played phenomenal defense and showed he can score when needed. Dominick
Thompson dominated the boards and scored in the post at will. Shane Simpson distributed the ball well getting players the
ball where most effective. He showed he has a high basketball I.Q. Garrison Goode, Nate Hubbard and Andrew Davis all brought
energy, played great defense and shot the ball well. Nick Coleman, Karim Cole & Tywon Bressler played their normal games
being true floor generals and leading their team to yet another championship. Congratulations Spartans on your 4th
championship this season. That improves your record to 24-1 for the season. Check back next week for more results as we travel
to Cleveland!

Waukegan Winter Championships: 1st PLACE 7th grade division
The 6th grade Milwaukee Spartan
I.C.E. played in the 7th grade division this past weekend. The Spartans have won two tournaments already this season
and were pushing for their 3rd. Playing up against the bigger, older & stronger players they had to win by
playing smarter and more fundamental. The first pool play game proved to be the most challenging against the North Chicago
Junior Hawks. While the Spartan big men struggled offensively the backcourt of Karim Cole and Tywon Bressler both combined
for a total of 25 of the teams 38 total points. After being down 10 early & by 7 at half they dug deep and held Jr. Hawks
to only 8 points the entire 2nd half, winning with a final score of 38-34. After that game the Spartan I.C.E. cruised
to the championship game. During the championship game we had great outputs from the entire team. Nick Coleman stood out scoring
23 points and a host of steals, rebounds & assists led the team to a 64-20 victory vs. Over The Edge 7th grade
team winning their 3rd tournament already this season. Congratulations Spartans. Check back next week for more
results!

Alonzo Trier 5’5 Guard (Federal Way, WA)- Trier has some explosive offensive skills that
stand out whenever he’s on the floor. He demands the ball at all times & is very aggressive. Remember this young
talent was the #1 player in the c/0 2014 in 08’. Recently he has been declassified to the c/o 2015. Alonzo
also showed great ability to shoot the ball with consistency off the dribble or spotting up. Trier has good speed but needs
to get stronger in the years to come especially if he wants to continue at the higher levels. At times he got bumped around
by even the younger kids! It will be good to see how he progresses in the coming years.

Deon Barrett 5’5 Guard (Mesquite, TX) - c/o 2015 I was very impressed by Deon’s game. He was
one of the better players in his class. Deon has a great looking shot that he knocked down with consistency. His handles were
superb as well. His game reminded me a lot of Milwaukee talent Tywon Bressler. We loved his competitiveness and the way he
moved his feet on defense. I would also like to see Deon knock down the jump shot off the dribble a little more consistently.
We know with his work ethic, Deon will have down soon. Remember this young mans name, Deon Barrett has a huge upside!

Jordan Green 5’2 Guard (Jackson, MS) - c/o 2015 Jordan was definitely worth mentioning. He handles
the ball with a lot of flash and can finish at the basket. Green was tenacious on defense and held his own against Alonzo
Trier. The best thing we liked about Green was the fact that he makes players better and isn’t afraid of the competition.
Some editors had him top 2 or 3 guards & others top 7 or 8. At any rate, Jordan Green was well worth mentioning.

Alex Robinson 5’7 Guard (Arlington, TX) - c/o 2014 Alex was easily the #1 7th grader at the camp.
He is a very athletic combo guard. Alex is a great 3 point shooter but more impressively he handles the ball and passes it
well also. He reminds me of a young Manu Ginobili. Robinson has a huge upside and I would definitely put him in the top 20
in his class nationally.

Shaks' highlights HERE
Shakeela Fowler a.k.a. Shak: Girls
c/o 2015 Position: PG
This young lady is very exciting to watch. As a 6th grader she could probably start on most 8th
grade girl teams. She has a very high basketball I.Q. and a great feel for the game. Shakeela also has an excellent skill
set for her age. What we like most about Shak is the fact that she plays with the flow of the game; she’s always under
control & can score when her team needs it. We are anxious to see how she matures. Remember her name because she’ll
be around for a while!

Pervis Jones Jr.: c/o 2014 Ht 5' 9" Position PG/ SG
Pervis is one of many elite guards in the Milwaukee area. He loves to make plays. Pervis is a very good
passer with decent ball handling skills that can also hit the short elbow shot. At times, he gets to the rack at will. The
highlight of his skill set is that he is a very strong guard that plays superb defense. Pervis has been a little underrated
in the past, but is looking to put his name out on the seen in 2009. My opinion, I think he is one of the best all around
guards in the state for his class. I’ve seen a lot of other guards around the country and Pervis should stack up well
on a national level. We will find out how good Pervis really is this year!
A few of his past coaches tell me, “They
can see that Pervis has a strong will to win and will do what ever on the court to help his team succeed.”

Midwest Invitational: 2nd PLACE
The Milwaukee Spartan I.C.E. took stage this past weekend in sight of a 3rd consecutive
championship. In a field of 24 teams which included Pdaak, Illinois Speed, D.T.A., Illinois Cardinals, Arlington Cardinals,
Wisconsin Storm as well the #10 team in the country WI Playground Elite (formally Racine Warriors). Our Spartan I.C.E. represented
Wisconsin well. Cruising through their pool, the I.C.E. defeated the Saxons and Orland Park Magic by an
average margin of victory of 46 points. Our 1st round playoff game proved to be a great matchup against a well
coached Illinois Speed (state runner-ups). The Speed jumped out to a 14-2 start but our boys showed much heart and not giving
up. As we got a spark from the bench we were able to rally to victory 42-38. At
the same time on the other side of the playoff bracket D.T.A. were playing WI Playground Elite (#10 team in the country).
Many had anticipated the Spartan I.C.E. vs. WI Playground Elite in the championship. D.T.A., lead by James Batemon, Joe Binyoti,
Stef Brown, & big D. Stone were not to be overlooked, defeating WI Playground in a close matchup by 4 points. Next up for the I.C.E. were the Illinois state champs (Pdaak). The
I.C.E. jumped out with the early lead. Pdaak, lead by young guard Jeremiah Ferguson, got them back in the game with his hot
shooting from behind the arc. Down the stretch the I.C.E. proved to be too much as they defeated Pdaak 54-45 and moved on
to the championship game. Meanwhile, D.T.A. was in a battle
against the Arlington Cardinals. The new programs (Cardinals) had two 6 ft towers and were much disciplined. D.T.A. shot
a low field goal percentage which did not help as they were defeated by the Cardinals by 11 pts. So on the Cardinals go, to
the ship!!!!!!! Spartan
I.C.E. now faced the Arlington Cardinals in the Gold championship game. This was a barn burner from beginning to end.
The lead changed back and forth and the I.C.E. held a 1 pt lead at the half. Even though the I.C.E. struggled from the field,
big Dominick Thompson dominated both of their 6 ft big men offensively. Totally separating himself from the other big men.
This didn’t hold the two Cardinal towers from grabbing all of the offensive rebounds and getting a lot of put backs.
It was a tie game with :50 to go in the game when we got a steal but missed the lay-up and the Cardinals when down and scored.
Instead of being ahead by two with :30, the I.C.E. were losing by 2. From here on out it was a free throw contest.
The Cardinals knocked down two clutch free throws and proved to be the better team on this day. The I.C.E. fell short 44-40
and took their first lost of the season. I’m sure these to teams will see each other again in the future. Congratulations
on your 2nd place achievement Milwaukee Spartan I.C.E.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This year the I.C.E. has proven they
have a host of talent. It has paid off for some of the guys. Dominick, Nick, Karim & Tywon were all invited to compete
against the top 50 players in their class (c/o 2015). They will travel to the US Superior Skills Basketball Camp at TCU in
Fort Worth, Texas. Clark Francis of Hoopscoop as well as a few other national recruiting services will be on hand to evaluate
these top players. It will be fun to see where our boys stack up against the best in the country! Check back for camp highlights!

WILDCATS FALL CLASSIC:
1ST PLACE Championship
#2 of 2 tournaments: class of 2015 The Milwaukee Spartan I.C.E. won their second consecutive championship. Our Spartan I.C.E. played on all cylinders
showing the competition that we are in a league of our own. Defeating D.T.A. in the championship by a score of 42-25, here
are some other game scores 97-7; 62-18; 102-17 & 59-23. They finished the tournament with an average
margin of victory of 55 points. The I.C.E. received great contributions from everyone on the team. Haywood, Tejon(5th
gr) and Shane all showed much heart on defense while shooting the ball well throughout the tournament. Nate and Andrew gave
that energy, hustle & instant offense when you needed it. First year man, Adrian pulled down a lot of rebounds & had
a lot of blocked shots & put backs. With his athleticism, he will definitely be fun to watch in the near future. Garrison
has been another great addition to the team this year. Showing much tenacity on defense & finishing well at the basket,
he is definitely an important pick-up this year. Karim and Tywon showed why they should be considered one of the best backcourts
in the area. Taking turns knocking down shots beyond the arc, penetrating when the defense allowed & getting their teammates
involved. They both showed to be true floor generals. Our frontcourt is not to be outdone as well. Nick and Dominick had a
host of rebounds & put backs. They also shot the ball well around they basket and when needed extended their games to
the arc. Be sure to continue to follow these young men. It should be fun this year!!!!!!!!!!!

HOLIDAY
HOOPS CLASSIC: 1ST PLACE Championship #1 of 1 class of 2015 The Spartans/I.C.E. had their first tournament this past weekend. There have been many
changes with the team this season. Only 6 returning players from the previous year, the 4 additions gelled well together in
there first tournament together. Through great defense, hustle and hard work, the guys rolled over their opponents by an average
margin of victory of 15 points. The season looks very promising! Next up for the I.C.E. - Rockford, Illinois, Wildcats Fall
Classic.

Nick Coleman - class o/ 2015(left) Nate Hubbard - class
o/ 2015(right) Nick Coleman at 5’10 can play all
5 positions makes him very difficult to guard. Inside, outside, right, left, up-tempo or slowing it down Nick can do it all.
Be sure to get a look at him if he’s in your area. He plays out of IL Nate Hubbard brings that energy every team needs. He causes a lot of turnovers and gets a lot of rebounds for a guard.
Offensively, Nate can stoke it with the best of them. Last season he had multiple games with 4 or more from beyond the arc.
At times he can be a zone buster. If you get
a chance to see these studs in the future, it’ll be well worth it!
Isaiah McCloud class o/ 2018 – This young baller is very fun to watch
at his age. He can really handle the ball and finish at the basket. You can tell Isiah really knows the game. With a huge
upside we are all looking forward to seeing this young man in the coming years.
Two excellent local players(Avery & Garrison) after
a hard individual work out with coach Bressler. Look for big things from these young men.

Dylan Lowry - Class of 2015 Dylan is the point guard for the Cincinnati
Lakers 12U AAU team. This young prospect has a very solid game. He can stoke the jump shot with the best of them & plays
solid defense as well. We are looking forward to seeing him as he develops his skill set. If he's in your area he
is worth the watch!
NEW DTA REBELS
class of 2014???? It has been rumored that the best c/o
2014 players have gotten together. Players such
as: Brandon Keys-
Arguably the best guard in the state. He works hard on both sides of the court and is probably one of the most exciting guards
in the Midwest. Pervis
Jones- This young man was ranked top 10 in the state for his class last year by NY2LASPORTS.com. Pervis is big, strong
& very defensive minded. We’re looking for big things out of him this year. Kevon Looney- This will be his first time playing
with his own age group. He’s clocked major minutes for Coach B. Jonakin over the past years and probably will be the
veteran of this team. You should see major things from Kevon this year. Jarelle DeBerry- A very versatile young ball player. Excellent awareness around
the basket & he can rebound as well as block shots in the clutch. Through hard work Jarelle has earned himself a spot
with the elite. It is said that big Jonathon Carson will
be amongst this elite group as well as a few other key players. Who will have the privilege of coaching this team? It’s also rumored that Coach Lou, former Bay View H.S. coach, will gel this elite team
together. If so, this will be the first time in this area that a major H.S. coach will coach a middle school A.A.U. team.
I guess we will see if this rumor is true when the A.A.U.
season begins!!!!
I.C.E. to Spartans – Racine Warriors
to Playground Elite!!!!
Class
of 2015 The I.C.E. has just received a new sponsor for this year coming up. This decision was made in the best interest
of the I.C.E. players. The Spartans offer many educational programs such as tutoring, mentoring & much more. The Spartan
program is run by Anthony McHenry. He is known for putting his children in positions to be successful. McHenry focuses on
getting collage looks for every player not just that Elite player. This is what sets The Spartans apart from other programs!!!!
You have a great addition to your Spartan Club- Spartan I.C.E. Elite. It is rumored that the #10 team in the country, Racine Warriors has went over to Playground Elite. I’m
sure this decision was also made in the best interest of their kids. I’m sure no matter what the team names or who the
sponsors are these two powerhouses will meet at some point next season. The question is will you be there to see it?

Kamil Williams - Class of 2015
This man has ridiculous game. Kamil is definitely a stud at his age group.
He is a 5’5” G that is very strong, athletic and knows the game. Kamil can finish at the basket as well as extend
his game beyond the arc. He will be an excellent addition to the team this year.
Jashaun Agusto &
Tywon Bressler These
two nationally known (via YouTube) players could make a very good backcourt. It is rumored that these two top notch guards
will team up this year. Both Jashaun & Tywon have high basketball I.Q.’s. They also handle the ball, shoot &
just make plays extremely well as seen on YouTube.
2008 Jr. All-American Camp- Washington, D.C.
Two I.C.E. players received invites
to the Jr. All-American Camp ( www.jrallamericancamp.com ) in Washington, D.C. Both Dominick Thompson and Tywon Bressler made the 6th grade All-American game. Here
is a picture of Tywon with Mike Melton, the National editor of www.bballspotlight.com. at the camp. Also take a look at the picture of Perry Dozier, Dominick Thompson
& Tywon Bressler after the All-American game. Perry Dozier has been ranked by multiple editors as the #1 player in the
class of 2015. Tywon Bressler was ranked #4 by Basketball Spotlight for his class and Dominick Thompson finished in the top
10 at his position. Don't be surprised if you see all 3 in a I.C.E. uniform next year!! Congratulations to all!

11U A.A.U. NATIONALS The Racine Warriors, Playground I.C.E.
Elite & D.T.A. all represented this year in Cocoa Beach, FL. D.T.A., led by Joe, Malik, Stef & James, struggled this year not playing consistent
and under a new coaching staff. Losing a few close games down the wire they finished 0-4. Playground I.C.E. Elite, led by Dom, Tywon & Nick did
very well this year making it to the championship bracket but falling short to the The Ville by 7 points. The Racine Warriors, led by Dee, Darion & Jaime had
an outstanding National tournament making it all the way to the placement game and finishing #10 in the country. Congratulations
all. Wouldn’t it be
nice to take the top 10 kids from all three teams to represent Wisconsin next year???????????????
12U A.A.U. NATIONALS Ray Allen Select and the WI Playground Warriors did a great job down in Hampton, VA. R.A. Select, lead by Riley & Jackson
as well as other great players went only 1 win from placing in the top 10 in the country. Not to be outdone, the WI Playground Warriors added big John
John & Jerrell from Playground Elite to help shooter Bennett & big David at Nationals. In which they also went 1 win
from placing. It would’ve been nice to see them matchup for a placement game. Congratulations to all your hard work
this season!!!!
April 25-27, 2008
This past weekend was a great experience for both
the 5th & 6th grade teams. Unfortunately, we could not bring home a 1st place trophy
this time. Our 6th grade boy’s team participated in the Cage Classic in the 7th grade division.
After loosing both pool games we still managed to fight through the playoffs to the championship game. Where they met a tough
7th grade Milwaukee Spartans team. As 6th graders we’ll take 2nd place any day in a
7th grade division!!!!
The 6th grade girl’s team played
in the Center Court Classic this weekend as well. Playing up in the 8th grade division and being their 1st
tournament together as a team, going 2-3 is not that bad. Let’s GO Lady I.C.E.!!!
Our 5th grade boys were in Ohio at
the Labron James Classic this weekend. Losing two close games out of three in pool play, unfortunately they did not move on
to bracket play. Hold your heads up young I.C.E. men; there is still a whole second half of the season to play!!!!

Labron James Rising Stars Classic
– April 08’
HHC Heat 11U Champions
This tournament is now
the 3rd largest tournament in the country with over 450 total teams. The 5th grade bracket was loaded.
With teams such as Cincinnati Knights, Hip Hop Culture, Team Disciples, Racine Warriors, Sam Cassell All Stars, Baylor, Playground
I.C.E. Elite, Kentucky Tigers and many more. It ultimately came down to the Knights vs Hip Hop Culture in the championship.
This was definitely a classic in the making. The Knights acquired Hip Hop Cultures starting PG from last year making this
an instant rivalry. Cincy Knights overlooked Hip Hop Culture probably because their 4th grade Knights defeated
them earlier in the year. Let us not forget that their 4th grade team is ranked #3 in the country at the 10u age group. Hip
Hop Culture showed that they were indeed a better team on this day. It proved that the Knights could not match the size of
Hip Hop Cultures big men or the scrappiness of their guards. Hip Hop Culture defeated the Knights 47-45 for the championship.
I’m sure this is not the last we’ll hear from the Knights. Congratulation Hip Hop Culture on a great tournament!
